According to the new orders issued by the railway board on May15, 2012, if extra coaches are incorporated in trains, then the empty seats shall be first allotted to the passengers in “Tatkal” quota and then later on will be allotted to the waiting list passengers of “General” quota.
This facility is being implemented to relieve the passengers of Tatkal Quota.
