Trip Overview

Historic Rajasthan was shaped not only by its great capitals but also by smaller princely estates, fortified settlements, desert outposts and aristocratic residences positioned between them. The Rajasthan Tour Package 23 Nights 24 Days – Heritage Palace Hotels Circuit follows that broader story, combining celebrated destinations with places such as Manvar, Khimsar, Rohet, Dungarpur and Deogarh to create a route with a stronger heritage-stay character.

The journey begins in Delhi before moving into Rajasthan through Jaipur. Two nights in the Pink City introduce the royal architecture of Amber Fort and the planned historic centre, establishing a grand opening before the route heads towards the desert.

Bikaner provides the next architectural chapter through Junagarh Fort, whose elaborate interiors stand behind formidable defensive walls. From there, two nights in Jaisalmer carry the itinerary deeper into the Thar, where the living fort, Jain temples and intricately carved merchant havelis reveal the importance of historic desert trade.

Instead of travelling directly from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur, the route pauses overnight at Manvar and then Khimsar. These smaller destinations are fundamental to the character of the package. They slow the journey through the desert and provide a closer relationship with Rajasthan's rural landscapes and heritage accommodation traditions.

Two nights in Jodhpur then return the itinerary to monumental royal architecture. Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada and the old Blue City represent Marwar on a grand scale before the journey becomes more intimate again at Rohet.

From Rohet, the itinerary climbs towards Mount Abu, where two nights introduce the cooler landscapes of Rajasthan's hill country and the extraordinary marble craftsmanship of the Dilwara Jain Temples. The contrast with the desert section is one of the strongest geographical changes on the entire route.

The journey subsequently reaches Dungarpur, adding a less conventional southern Rajasthan stop before three nights in Udaipur. The extended Udaipur stay allows City Palace, Lake Pichola and the old city to be experienced at a comfortable pace rather than compressed into one day.

Deogarh continues the heritage-property theme before the journey passes through Ajmer and reaches Pushkar for two nights. Sacred Pushkar Lake, the Brahma Temple and the town's pilgrimage atmosphere introduce another cultural dimension after the long sequence of forts and palaces.

Two nights in Ranthambore provide the wildlife component. Any safari remains dependent on official permits, park operations, vehicle allocation and assigned zones. Tigers inhabit the reserve, but tiger sightings are never guaranteed because wildlife movement is completely natural.

The final major stop is Agra, where the Taj Mahal adds Mughal architecture to a journey otherwise dominated by Rajput, Jain and regional heritage. Delhi then serves as the departure point.

For travellers searching for a 24 days Rajasthan heritage tour, the route offers considerably more than famous monuments. Its strongest feature is the deliberate alternation between major royal cities and smaller heritage destinations, allowing Rajasthan's palaces, desert landscapes, hill country, pilgrimage traditions and wildlife to form a continuous but varied journey.

Day 1 Arrival in Delhi – Gateway to the Heritage Palace Circuit

Arrive in Delhi at the international airport, domestic terminal, railway station or another confirmed meeting point. Meet the representative or private driver and transfer to the selected hotel for the first overnight stay of this extensive Rajasthan journey.

Because travellers may arrive at very different times, the opening day remains flexible. Guests reaching Delhi after a long international flight can use the day to rest, while earlier arrivals can begin with a gentle orientation through selected areas of the capital.

Where the schedule permits, drive through parts of New Delhi to see its broad avenues, prominent government-era architecture and contrasting modern neighbourhoods. The capital provides a useful urban starting point before the journey enters Rajasthan's succession of historic royal centres and smaller princely settlements.

A short market visit or selected sightseeing stop may be incorporated according to arrival time and the confirmed programme. The intention is to avoid overloading the first day before a journey lasting more than three weeks.

Return to the hotel and rest. The following morning begins the road journey to Jaipur, where Rajasthan's royal architectural story becomes the principal focus.

Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2 Delhi to Jaipur – Entering Rajasthan Through the Pink City

After breakfast, leave Delhi and travel towards Jaipur. The journey marks the transition from India's national capital to Rajasthan's best-known planned royal city and the first major destination of the heritage circuit.

Arrive in Jaipur and check into the selected hotel for a two-night stay. After refreshing, begin with a relaxed introduction to the walled Pink City rather than attempting the complete sightseeing programme immediately.

Proceed towards Hawa Mahal for exterior views of its distinctive façade. Rising directly beside the old market streets, the building demonstrates how Jaipur's royal architecture remains closely integrated with the commercial life of the historic centre.

Continue through selected traditional bazaars. Jewellery, gemstones, textiles, handicrafts and block-printed fabrics have long been associated with Jaipur, while the organised streets provide an introduction to the planning principles behind the old city.

Return to the hotel after the orientation. Amber Fort, City Palace and Jantar Mantar are kept for the following day, allowing Jaipur's principal monuments to be explored with sufficient time.

Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 3 Jaipur Sightseeing – Amber Fort and the Royal Architecture of the Pink City

Begin the morning at Amber Fort, situated among the hills outside central Jaipur. Before Jaipur became the royal capital, Amber served as an important seat of power, making the fortress an essential first chapter in understanding the region's history.

Pass through the historic gateways and enter the main courtyards. The architecture gradually moves from defensive structures into refined palace spaces containing carved surfaces, balconies, former royal apartments and ceremonial areas.

Return towards Jaipur and pause near Jal Mahal for exterior views where local stopping and traffic conditions permit. The palace appears within Man Sagar Lake and provides a visual contrast to Amber's elevated fortifications.

Continue to City Palace and Jantar Mantar in the historic centre. City Palace reflects the political and residential world of the later capital, while Jantar Mantar's monumental astronomical instruments reveal the scientific interests of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II.

Complete the day around Hawa Mahal and the old-city markets. With a second Jaipur night already planned, the sightseeing remains comfortably paced before the journey moves towards Bikaner.

Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 4 Jaipur to Bikaner – From the Pink City to Northern Desert Rajasthan

After breakfast, leave Jaipur and begin travelling towards Bikaner. The road gradually moves into drier surroundings, signalling the start of the desert-oriented section of the itinerary.

The geographical change also introduces a different architectural environment. Jaipur was developed as an organised royal capital, whereas Bikaner's historic character grew within the harsher environmental conditions of northern Rajasthan.

Arrive in Bikaner and check into the selected hotel. Depending on arrival time and official opening schedules, proceed to Junagarh Fort, the city's principal royal monument.

Junagarh differs from many Rajasthan forts because it stands on comparatively level ground rather than dominating the city from a high hill. Its formidable outer walls contain courtyards, balconies, ceremonial halls and former royal apartments decorated in a variety of styles.

Return to the hotel after sightseeing and spend the evening at leisure. The following morning continues west towards Jaisalmer and the deeper landscapes of the Thar.

Overnight stay in Bikaner.

Day 5 Bikaner to Jaisalmer – Across the Thar Towards the Golden City

Enjoy breakfast before leaving Bikaner for Jaisalmer. The journey carries the itinerary farther west and progressively deeper into Rajasthan's desert environment.

Observe the changing landscape during the drive. Vegetation becomes more sparse, settlements are separated by larger stretches of open terrain and the scale of the Thar becomes increasingly apparent.

Approaching Jaisalmer, golden-yellow sandstone begins to dominate the built environment. The elevated silhouette of Jaisalmer Fort eventually rises above the surrounding city, announcing one of Rajasthan's most distinctive historic destinations.

Arrive and check into the selected hotel for a two-night stay. The main sightseeing programme is deliberately reserved for the next morning so that the fort and historic merchant quarters can be explored without rushing after the longer road journey.

If sufficient daylight remains, take a relaxed orientation through a nearby market or heritage street. The sandstone façades take on particularly warm tones towards evening, creating an atmospheric first impression of the Golden City.

Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

Day 6 Jaisalmer Sightseeing – Living Fort, Jain Temples and Merchant Havelis

Begin the day at Jaisalmer Fort, the architectural heart of the Golden City. Unlike many Rajasthan fortresses preserved mainly as historical monuments, Jaisalmer remains inhabited, with residences, shops, temples and active lanes continuing within its walls.

Walk through the narrow passages and explore the accessible sections. Golden sandstone unifies gateways, houses, balconies and religious structures, creating the distinctive visual identity for which Jaisalmer is renowned.

Visit the historic Jain temples inside the fort according to current opening schedules and religious regulations. Their intricately carved interiors provide a striking contrast to the massive defensive walls surrounding the settlement.

Continue into the lower city to visit selected merchant havelis. Elaborate stone screens, projecting balconies and richly carved façades demonstrate the prosperity associated with trading families who benefited from Jaisalmer's position on historic commercial routes.

Spend the later afternoon exploring the old city at a comfortable pace. Two nights provide enough time to appreciate Jaisalmer as a living historic settlement rather than reducing the destination to a single fort visit.

Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

Day 7 Jaisalmer to Manvar – From the Golden City to a Quieter Desert Landscape

After breakfast, leave Jaisalmer and travel towards Manvar. Instead of heading directly for another large city, today's journey deliberately remains within the desert landscape and shifts the focus from monumental architecture to the wider environment of western Rajasthan.

The road reveals the scale and openness of the Thar. Sparse vegetation, small settlements and long stretches of arid terrain provide a completely different travel experience from the dense historic streets of Jaisalmer.

Arrive in Manvar and check into the selected accommodation. Depending on the confirmed package and property category, the stay may focus on a desert-oriented or heritage setting, but the exact accommodation type and activities should always follow the final booking confirmation.

Spend the afternoon appreciating the surrounding landscape. Optional desert activities, local excursions or cultural programmes may be arranged when specifically included, but they are not automatically treated as part of the package.

The overnight stop gives the journey an important breathing space between Jaisalmer and Khimsar. Rather than using the desert merely as scenery between cities, the itinerary allows its landscape to become a destination in its own right.

Overnight stay in Manvar.

Day 8 Manvar to Khimsar – Through the Desert to a Smaller Heritage Stronghold

After breakfast, leave Manvar and continue towards Khimsar. The journey remains within the broad desert region but introduces another historical layer through a smaller settlement associated with Rajasthan's aristocratic and fortified heritage.

During the drive, the surrounding terrain continues to reflect the environmental conditions of western Rajasthan. Small villages and cultivated pockets appear between stretches of open land, revealing how communities adapted to the demanding desert landscape.

Arrive in Khimsar and check into the selected hotel or heritage accommodation. The destination provides a more intimate setting than Jaipur, Bikaner or Jaisalmer and fits naturally within the Heritage Palace Hotels Circuit concept.

Spend time exploring the accessible heritage surroundings according to the confirmed programme. Architectural details, courtyards and the character of the settlement provide a quieter interpretation of Rajasthan's former princely and aristocratic world.

Enjoy the evening at leisure. The following stage travels towards Jodhpur, where the scale changes dramatically again with the arrival at Mehrangarh Fort and the historic capital of Marwar. Overnight stay in Khimsar.

Day 9 Khimsar to Jodhpur – From a Desert Stronghold to the Capital of Marwar

After breakfast, leave Khimsar and travel towards Jodhpur. The journey connects a smaller desert heritage settlement with one of Rajasthan's great former royal capitals, creating a noticeable change in both scale and atmosphere.

As Jodhpur approaches, the enormous outline of Mehrangarh Fort begins to dominate the skyline. Built high above the surrounding city, the fortress provides an immediate reminder of Marwar's political importance and introduces a much larger architectural setting after the quieter stay in Khimsar.

Arrive in Jodhpur and check into the selected hotel or heritage accommodation for a two-night stay. Keeping the main fort sightseeing for the following day allows the arrival afternoon to remain comfortable after the road journey.

Later, explore the Clock Tower and Sardar Market area. The busy lanes around the market are filled with shops selling spices, textiles, handicrafts and everyday goods, offering a lively introduction to the commercial character of old Jodhpur.

Return to the hotel for the evening. The next day is devoted to Mehrangarh, Jaswant Thada and the historic neighbourhoods beneath the fortress.

Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Day 10 Jodhpur Sightseeing – Mehrangarh Fort and the Blue City

Begin the morning at Mehrangarh Fort, one of Rajasthan's most commanding fortified complexes. Rising directly from a rocky escarpment, the fort appears almost inseparable from the hill on which it stands.

Pass through its historic gateways and enter the former palace areas. Massive exterior walls give way to elegant courtyards, intricately carved stone screens, balconies, ceremonial spaces and royal chambers that reveal the sophisticated court culture once protected inside.

Continue to the elevated viewpoints overlooking the Blue City of Jodhpur. The dense historic neighbourhoods stretching below the fort provide one of the most recognisable panoramas in Rajasthan and clearly demonstrate the relationship between fortress and city.

Visit nearby Jaswant Thada, an elegant marble memorial whose lighter architecture and peaceful surroundings contrast with the scale and defensive character of Mehrangarh.

Spend the later afternoon exploring appropriate sections of the old city or returning to its traditional markets. The second Jodhpur night keeps the sightseeing unhurried before the route continues into rural Marwar.

Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Day 11 Jodhpur to Rohet – Rural Marwar and Heritage Living

After breakfast, check out and leave Jodhpur for Rohet. The shorter transfer deliberately shifts the journey away from a major royal capital and into a quieter setting associated with rural Marwar and traditional heritage hospitality.

Arrive and check into the selected heritage accommodation. The character of this stop is less about moving between major monuments and more about appreciating the atmosphere of a smaller Rajasthan settlement.

Where specifically included in the confirmed programme, locally organised village-oriented activities can provide insight into traditional occupations, settlement patterns and rural life. The exact experience depends on local arrangements and should not be assumed unless confirmed with the package.

Spend time enjoying the heritage surroundings and slower pace. Architectural courtyards, traditional design elements and the atmosphere of the property itself can form an important part of the stay.

The Rohet night reinforces the central idea of this Rajasthan heritage palace hotels tour: grand forts and palaces are balanced with smaller heritage destinations where the travel experience becomes more intimate.

Overnight stay in Rohet.

Day 12 Rohet to Mount Abu – From Rural Marwar into Rajasthan's Hill Country

Leave Rohet after breakfast and begin travelling towards Mount Abu. The journey introduces one of the strongest geographical changes on the route as the comparatively dry Marwar landscape gradually gives way to the higher terrain of the Aravalli hills.

Observe the changing vegetation and topography during the drive. The ascent towards Mount Abu reveals a side of Rajasthan that contrasts sharply with the desert environments experienced around Jaisalmer, Manvar and Khimsar.

Arrive and check into the selected hotel for a two-night stay. The extended stop allows the hill station to be treated as a destination rather than merely an overnight break between Marwar and southern Rajasthan.

Later, spend time around Nakki Lake or another suitable public area according to arrival time. The lake, rocky formations and surrounding hills provide a relaxed setting after the road journey.

Enjoy the evening at leisure in the cooler hill environment. The celebrated Dilwara Jain Temples and additional Mount Abu sightseeing are reserved for the following day.

Overnight stay in Mount Abu.

Day 13 Mount Abu Sightseeing – Dilwara Jain Temples and Aravalli Scenery

Begin the day with a visit to the Dilwara Jain Temples, subject to current opening schedules and religious regulations. Their extraordinary marble workmanship makes them one of the most important architectural experiences on this itinerary.

Within the sections accessible to visitors, observe finely carved ceilings, pillars, domes and ornamental surfaces. The delicacy of the craftsmanship creates a remarkable contrast with the powerful sandstone fortifications encountered throughout the desert section.

Because the temples remain active religious spaces, visitors must respect current requirements concerning footwear, clothing, photography, mobile phones and other restricted belongings.

Continue with additional Mount Abu sightseeing according to the confirmed programme. Suitable viewpoints, landscaped areas or other local attractions may be included depending on time, weather and access conditions.

Spend the later afternoon at leisure around Nakki Lake or the hill-station centre. The second overnight allows time to enjoy Mount Abu's landscape before descending towards southern Rajasthan.

Overnight stay in Mount Abu.

Day 14 Mount Abu to Dungarpur – Into Southern Rajasthan

After breakfast, leave Mount Abu and travel towards Dungarpur. This stage takes the itinerary away from Rajasthan's most frequently travelled tourism circuit and introduces the distinctive heritage landscape of the state's southern region.

The road passes through changing Aravalli terrain and increasingly rural surroundings. After several major destinations, Dungarpur provides another opportunity to appreciate a smaller former princely centre.

Arrive and check into the selected hotel or heritage accommodation. Depending on arrival time and confirmed access, begin exploring appropriate local heritage areas associated with the former royal town.

Dungarpur's appeal lies in the combination of regional architecture, water landscapes and a quieter urban scale. Its inclusion also creates a meaningful geographical link between Mount Abu and Udaipur instead of treating the journey merely as a direct transfer.

Spend the evening at leisure in the heritage surroundings. The following morning continues towards Udaipur for one of the longest stays of the entire circuit.

Overnight stay in Dungarpur.

Day 15 Dungarpur to Udaipur – Arrival in the City of Lakes

After breakfast, leave Dungarpur and travel towards Udaipur, the historic capital of Mewar. The journey continues through southern Rajasthan and the Aravalli landscape before reaching the famous lake city.

Arrive in Udaipur and check into the selected hotel for a generous three-night stay. This longer allocation creates a more comfortable rhythm and allows the city to be experienced beyond its principal monuments.

Later, take an introductory walk through an appropriate section of the old city or around Lake Pichola. Ghats, historic façades, temples and densely built lanes demonstrate how closely Udaipur's urban character is connected with its waterfront.

The arrival day remains deliberately light. City Palace and the principal Mewar heritage landmarks are reserved for the following day so they can be explored without the pressure of a road transfer.

Spend the evening enjoying the lakeside atmosphere before returning to the hotel.

Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 16 Udaipur Sightseeing – City Palace, Jagdish Temple and Lake Pichola

Begin the day at Udaipur City Palace, the extensive royal complex overlooking Lake Pichola. Constructed and enlarged over generations, it contains interconnected courtyards, gateways, terraces, balconies and former royal apartments.

Explore the sections open to visitors and observe decorative interiors, carved windows and elevated viewpoints. From different parts of the palace, the lake, old city and surrounding hills combine to create the landscape for which Udaipur is renowned.

Continue to Jagdish Temple, situated close to the palace within the historic quarter. Visitors should observe all current religious-site requirements concerning footwear, photography and respectful behaviour.

Later, visit Saheliyon Ki Bari, whose gardens, fountains and pavilions provide a gentler architectural setting after the extensive palace complex.

Spend the evening near Lake Pichola. An optional boat ride can be arranged separately according to weather, operating schedules and the services specifically confirmed in the package.

Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 17 Udaipur – A Leisurely Day in Mewar's Lake Capital

The third day in Udaipur is designed to slow the itinerary after more than two weeks of travelling. Instead of immediately moving onward, travellers have time to experience the city beyond its headline attractions.

Use the morning for additional sightseeing according to personal interests and the confirmed programme. Museums, gardens, viewpoints or other suitable heritage areas can complement the major landmarks visited the previous day.

Spend time walking through selected old-city neighbourhoods, where traditional shops, workshops, temples and residential lanes provide a more intimate perspective on contemporary Udaipur.

The afternoon may remain free for handicraft shopping, photography or relaxation around the lakefront. This flexibility is especially valuable within a long itinerary where continuous scheduled sightseeing can otherwise become tiring.

Enjoy a final evening in Udaipur before travelling to Deogarh. The three-night stay makes the City of Lakes one of the most relaxed stages of the complete circuit.

Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 18 Udaipur to Deogarh – From Mewar's Capital to a Smaller Heritage Town

After breakfast, leave Udaipur and travel towards Deogarh. The itinerary once again moves from a major royal centre to a smaller historic settlement, maintaining the alternating rhythm that defines this package.

Arrive in Deogarh and check into the selected heritage accommodation. The town offers a more intimate environment in which the heritage-property experience itself can become as important as conventional sightseeing.

Spend time exploring appropriate sections of the town or surrounding heritage areas according to the confirmed programme. Traditional streets and local architecture provide a different perspective from the monumental scale of Udaipur City Palace.

Where local activities are included, the afternoon can be used for an organised excursion or cultural experience. Such services depend on the confirmed property and booking arrangements and are therefore not automatically included.

Spend the evening at leisure in Deogarh. The overnight stop provides another quiet interval before the journey turns towards the pilgrimage centres of Ajmer and Pushkar.

Overnight stay in Deogarh.

Day 19 Deogarh to Pushkar via Ajmer – From Heritage Rajasthan to Sacred Cities

After breakfast, leave Deogarh and travel towards Ajmer. Today's journey changes the cultural emphasis from royal and aristocratic heritage to two of Rajasthan's most important pilgrimage destinations.

In Ajmer, visit the appropriate pilgrimage area according to the confirmed programme and prevailing access arrangements. Religious customs, security procedures and local guidelines should be followed carefully throughout the visit.

Continue afterwards to nearby Pushkar and check into the selected hotel for a two-night stay. The town is centred on its sacred lake and ghats, giving it an atmosphere unlike the fortified and palace-dominated destinations visited earlier.

Walk through appropriate sections around Pushkar Lake and its surrounding market lanes. Religious activity remains part of everyday life here, so photography and behaviour should always respect local instructions.

Spend the evening at leisure. The second Pushkar night provides time for the Brahma Temple and a more relaxed understanding of the pilgrimage town the following day. Overnight stay in Pushkar.

Day 20 Pushkar – Sacred Lake, Brahma Temple and a Slower Pilgrimage Day

Begin the morning around Pushkar Lake, one of the town's defining sacred spaces. Walk through appropriate sections of the ghats while observing all religious customs and local instructions.

Continue to the Brahma Temple according to current opening schedules. The temple's significance within Pushkar's religious identity makes it an important cultural stop rather than simply another architectural attraction.

After the scheduled visits, spend time exploring the town's lanes and market areas. Pushkar's shops, cafés, religious buildings and compact streets create an atmosphere noticeably different from Rajasthan's larger royal cities.

The additional night also provides flexibility for travellers who prefer a slower morning or afternoon after almost three weeks of road travel. Optional activities can be arranged separately where available.

Return to the hotel for the evening. The next stage moves from sacred Pushkar into the wildlife landscape surrounding Ranthambore.

Overnight stay in Pushkar.

Day 21 Pushkar to Ranthambore – From Pilgrimage Traditions to Wildlife Country

After breakfast, check out and begin the road journey towards Ranthambore. The transfer introduces another significant change in the itinerary, moving away from temples and sacred ghats towards dry forest, rocky hills and wildlife habitat.

Arrive in the Ranthambore region and check into the selected wildlife resort or hotel for a two-night stay. The surrounding environment provides a marked contrast with the urban and heritage destinations experienced throughout the journey.

Use the remaining time to rest and prepare for the scheduled wildlife safari. Safari reporting times depend on official park schedules, season and the permit confirmed for the booking.

Vehicles and zones are allocated according to the applicable park system. Entry and safari operations therefore remain subject to official permits, availability, park regulations and operational conditions.

Ranthambore is famous for Bengal tigers, but tiger sightings are never guaranteed. Wildlife moves freely, and every safari experience depends on natural behaviour, weather, vegetation, season and chance.

Overnight stay in Ranthambore.

Day 22 Ranthambore Wildlife Safari – Exploring the Natural Landscape

Begin according to the reporting time stated on the confirmed Ranthambore wildlife safari permit. Enter the national park in the authorised vehicle and travel through the officially allocated zone.

The landscape combines dry deciduous forest, rocky ridges, open areas and water bodies. Historic ruins visible in parts of the reserve create an unusual relationship between natural habitat and Rajasthan's architectural past.

While Bengal tigers are the park's most celebrated animals, the ecosystem supports much more. Depending on natural conditions and the assigned route, visitors may encounter deer, antelope, wild boar, monkeys, crocodiles and a variety of birdlife.

No responsible tour can promise a tiger sighting. The purpose of the safari is to observe a functioning natural ecosystem, with every wildlife encounter determined by conditions inside the reserve rather than by a fixed sightseeing schedule.

Return to the accommodation after the safari and spend the remaining hours at leisure. Additional safaris require separate permits and are included only when specifically confirmed.

Overnight stay in Ranthambore.

Day 23 Ranthambore to Agra – From Rajasthan's Forests to Mughal Grandeur

After breakfast, leave Ranthambore and begin travelling towards Agra. The journey moves beyond Rajasthan and introduces a different architectural tradition after weeks of Rajput forts, Jain temples, heritage residences and pilgrimage sites.

Arrive in Agra and check into the selected hotel. According to arrival time and official opening schedules, proceed with the principal Agra sightseeing included in the confirmed programme.

Visit the Taj Mahal at the most suitable confirmed time. Approach through the monumental gateway and formal garden, where the symmetry of the complex gradually directs attention towards the white marble mausoleum.

Observe its marble inlay, calligraphy, balanced proportions and relationship with the surrounding structures. The monument provides a striking Mughal counterpoint to the sandstone fortresses and palace architecture that have defined much of the journey.

Return to the hotel after sightseeing. This is the final overnight before the road journey back to Delhi.

Overnight stay in Agra.

Day 24 Agra to Delhi – Completing the Heritage Palace Hotels Circuit

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin the journey towards Delhi. The final road sector completes a circuit that has travelled from major royal capitals to small desert and countryside heritage destinations.

Jaipur, Bikaner, Jaisalmer and Jodhpur presented four distinct expressions of Rajasthan's royal and urban history. Manvar, Khimsar and Rohet then gave the desert and Marwar sections a more intimate character through smaller-scale stays.

Mount Abu introduced the Aravalli highlands and Dilwara's marble artistry, while Dungarpur opened the route into southern Rajasthan. Three nights in Udaipur provided time for Mewar's lakeside heritage before Deogarh returned the journey to a smaller historic setting.

Ajmer and Pushkar shifted the focus towards living pilgrimage traditions, followed by Ranthambore's forests and wildlife. Agra completed the architectural progression with the Taj Mahal and Mughal heritage.

On reaching Delhi, transfer to the airport, railway station, hotel or another confirmed location according to onward arrangements, completing the Rajasthan Tour Package 23 Nights 24 Days – Heritage Palace Hotels Circuit..
