Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival At Delhi

Arrive at the Delhi Airport to be greeted by one of our representatives who will then guide you to the pre booked accommodation for your stay. Enjoy your evening walk through the local markets and rest for the night to prepare yourself for the sightseeing around Delhi the next day.

Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing

Start you tour around Delhi with Red Fort. Red Fort served as the main residence for the Mughal emperors and is made of red sandstone, hence the name. Also, visit the narrow lanes around Chandani Chowk which is a very interesting market in the heart of Delhi which perfectly encapsulates the spirit of the city. Also, pay a visit to Bangla Sahib Gurudwara.

Day 3: Delhi Sightseeing

Visit the glorious monuments that the capital city has to offer after breakfast. Pay a visit to Qutub Minar, a UNESCO world heritage site, India Gate, Parliament House, Rajghat, Humayun’s Tomb and Lotus Temple. Also, pay a visit to Jama Masjid which is one of the largest mosques in the country.

Day 4: Delhi To Guwahati To Kaziranga National Park

Board the flight after breakfast to Guwahati. Drive to Kaziranga National Park upon arrival. Enjoy the evening at the resort watching Bihu dance, one of the local dance forms of Indian state of Assam and the bonfire dinner.

Day 5: Kaziranga National Park

Kaziranga National Park is spread across the floodplains of Brahmaputra River and the wetlands of the National Park along with its forests are home to the largest Indian one-horned rhinoceros population along with elephants and tigers. Enjoy the safari offered at the park multiple times a day to witness the wildlife and the rich flora and fauna.

Day 6: Kaziranga National Park

Spend another day going around and about the Kaziranga National Park experiencing the natural habitat. Along with other animals, you can also spot Ganges River Dolphin in the parks’ waters. The park is also visited by rare migratory birds.

Day 7: Kaziranga To Guwahati To Bagdogra To Kalimpong

Depart for Bagdora after breakfast. Bagdora usually just serves as the base for tourists travelling further.  After reaching there, leave for Kalimpong. Check in at the hotel upon arrival and rest overnight.

Day 8: Kalimpong Sightseeing

Take a stroll through the markets of Kalimpong after breakfast. Hire a vehicle post breakfast to visit Dr. Graham Homes School, Thonga Goma Monastry, Deolo Hill, and Mangaldham. Stay at the hotel overnight.

Day 9: Kalimpong To Siliguri To Kolkata

Enjoy a rafting session at the Teesta River post breakfast if you wish to. Later, depart for Kolkata from the New Jalpaigudi Station via train.

Day 10: Kolkata Sightseeing

You will be transferred to the hotel for overnight stay upon arrival. Visit the famous landmarks around Kolkata including Mother Teresa’s House, St. John’s Church, Victoria Memorial and last but definitely not the least, Howrah Bridge. Enjoy the free evening strolling around and about the local markets of Kolkata.

Day 11: Kolkata To Sunderbans National Park

Take a boat from Basanti Port to Sunderbans after a hearty breakfast. From there, you can take a cruise to Sajnekhali Bird Sanctuary. You can get a chance to spot the Royal Bengal Tiger if luck favors you along with Herons, Indian Grey Mongoose and Leopard cats among others.

Day 12: Sunderbans National Park

Explore the vast mangroves of the Sunderbans National Park and spot all the wildlife that the National Park has to offer. Arrive at Sajnekhali and grab your dinner at Mangrove Interpretation Centre.

Day 13: Sunderbans National Park To Kolkata

Observe the rural development project by taking a cycle rickshaw ride around Rangabelia Tagore Society. After that head for Kolkata from Basanti port. Stay over there overnight at the already booked hotel accommodation.

Day 14: Kolkata To Delhi

Depart from Kolkata airport to Delhi in order to catch your next flight for your further journey.
