Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi Arrival

Your arrival is warmly greeted by our assigned tour representative, who will assist you further with hotel transfer and check-in formalities. After resting for a while, get ready for a sightseeing tour (if suitable today)
Delhi – India’s capital Delhi is a cosmopolitan city with traces of history in Old and modern living in New Delhi. From historic monuments to bustling markets, Delhi has multiple personalities and is considered a major tourist place to start a journey anywhere in India.
Places of attraction today – In the evening, embark on a visit to a war memorial site, India Gate was built in memory of Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the First World War. Next, head to the iconic Mughal architectural jewel of Delhi, Red Fort or Lal Qila, where you can explore museums or attend light and sound show in the evening. Afterward, visit Qutub Minar Complex, which is the tallest brick minaret in India. (Depending on the availability of time and your energy levels, you can continue sightseeing in Delhi and visit Jama Masjid, Lotus Temple, Humayun’s Tomb, and Akshardham Temple).

Day 2: Drive to Mandawa

Today, you will head onwards for a road trip to Mandawa (255 kilometers). After breakfast, check out of the hotel and meet the driver to continue the journey onward. Arrive and check-in at the pre-booked hotel in Mandawa.
Mandawa – A quaint little town in the Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan, Mandawa is popularly known as the Open Art Gallery. The town is adorned with paved archways, magnificent hovels, and fortresses. Mandawa gives a wonderful introduction to the Shekhawati lifestyle.

Places of attraction today – Mehrangarh Fort is the most important tourist attraction of Jodhpur, which is one of the largest forts in India. Settled atop of 410 feet elevated hill and guarded by vast walls, the fort encloses a museum exhibiting the belongings of royal kings. Next visit Umaid Bhawan Palace which is a museum and the residence of the Royal Family of the present owner Raja Gaj Singh. See the grandeur of Mewar’s Taj Mahal, Jaswant Thada, which is a royal cenotaph built in pure white marble.
