Elephant rides at Amber Mahal will be closed during Navratri

With effective from October16 to 23, 2012, the elephant ride to Amber Mahal will be closed. This development is due to the Navratri festival that attracts a huge crowd of devotees to pay a visit to Shila Mata Temple.

However, every year travelers are provided with short elephant rides at Kesar Kyari/Maotha Lake parking ground but, this time it would also be closed due to the bad condition of roads. The jeep/car ride and hill climb will be regular from back road.
