Rameshwar Singh’s Painting Exhibition at Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur

Jaipur’s Jawahar Kala Kendra hosted a remarkable painting exhibition by renowned Rajasthani artist Rameshwar Singh. Titled “Once Upon a Time There Was a Tiger – Romancing Tales of Ranthambore,” the exhibition presented a fascinating artistic interpretation of the relationship between humans, tigers and nature.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Diya Kumari and featured Rameshwar Singh’s signature artistic elements, including calligraphy, clocks, scriptures, tattoos and women portrayed in the traditional Phad style. Through vibrant colours and imaginative compositions, the artist brought the wilderness and royal character of Ranthambore to life.

Colourful Tales of Ranthambore

Rameshwar Singh used rich shades of red, blue, brown and grey to create visually striking paintings. Each artwork conveyed a different story, combining wildlife, fantasy and human emotions. One of the most interesting paintings, titled “An Interview with a Mysterious Tiger,” depicted a tiger speaking to a female reporter and a cameraperson seated in a vintage car.

The unusual scene added humour and imagination while presenting the tiger as the king of Ranthambore. Such creative storytelling made the exhibition appealing to art enthusiasts as well as wildlife lovers.
